| Lycopene, found primarily in tomatoes, is a member of the carotenoid family—including beta-carotene and similar compounds found naturally in food—and has potent antioxidant capabilities. Studies show that lycopene is a scavenger of singlet-oxygen, offering powerful antioxidant activity. Supplementation with Lyc-O-Mato has been shown to increase serum levels of lycopene. Lower serum levels of lycopene are associated with higher body weight, aging, and smoking. Cell culture studies have shown that Lycopene may suppress cholesterol synthesis and lower serum LDL oxidation. Supplement Facts: Each capsule contains Lycopene 10mg Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, take 1 capsule 1 to 2 times daily, preferably with meals.
